Sights And Sounds-Kochi
My visit to Kochi, Kerala was a memorable event.
I had been there as a teenager with an Uncle and his family. I was kinda forced to reside with him in his quarters as I had nowhere else to go back then during my hols. I do not remember the scenario exactly but I do know as I had tagged along with one of my cousins, S, I was in this situation. But that visit was eventful as well. Thank you Uncle although I must inform you that Uncle passed away three days ago, he was not related to me. But he showed me so many things like a father would. Some of the scenes are not so vivid but the scene that brings a smile to my face is watching the sun set at Bolgatty Palace

And because I watched that sun set many sunsets ago, I did not push my husband to tick that off our "to do/to visit" list. We didn't have time to cover that and whatever we did is etched in my mind hence, I was happy. So these were a couple of things I clicked outside the Dutch Palace as photography was restricted within the palace.
I am always amazed with things in a bottle! Doesn't it amaze you as well?
Artwork on some of the barks and branches of trees.
Sticking out the tongue huh?
Man made wonders on one hand and how to handle other minute things in life is still not clear in man's head. The garbage strewn around near The Chinese Fishing Nets in Kochi. Pitiful!
Such gorgeous fruits in brine-raw mango, hog plums, gooseberries...you name it, we pickle it, SLURP!
We catch-You buy-We fry!
Kerala
Yeah Right! The lunch that we ordered from this place(seen below) had such a luring set up that would beckon one and all with the perfect name for the cafe. Even the display menu was perfectly placed to lure customers.
Tempt me with all this, what poor service just for a bowl of rice and a dish of prawns. It was as if you guys went out to fish for the prawns when we placed that order! Only because we placed that order, we sat through...we would have definitely walked out otherwise! It was one of the most frustrating and worst experiences of my life.
I swear I saw your help get some food from elsewhere in containers when a couple of foreigners ordered something. You definitely didn't cook that for them, just tricked them into believing that you did!
And you charged us *&% bucks for this!!!
