Sweet Potatoes & A No Bake Cake


 Today was a day set aside for some weird Sunday Bingeing...although I wanted to binge...I really didn't! Just wound up putting them together and getting these lovely shots and was happy that the kiddo at home(at the moment) enjoyed all these lil' a bit weird experiments of mine in the kitchen.

So here goes-this no bake cake was made with a mixture of crumbled Marie Biscuits,Cashewnuts,Almonds,CornFlakes,two tsps of Hersheys Cocoa Powder and heaps of creamy Nutella...I did  lick a lot from the spoon everytime I extracted a spoon of Nutella from the jar. This mixture almost clumps together and you get a sort of grainy crumble.

Take your muffin mould tray, line each with the cupcake liners and spoon the mixture into each paper liner so as to form a thin base, you can use the back of your spoon to smoothen out the mixture into the cupcake liners. Place them into the fridge so that they would set.Once they have set, you may use any cream toppings that you would like to do, I have just used an instant whipping cream( followed the instructions given on the box- the brand is Blue Bird) You can pipe it onto these biscuit base or like me just smoothen it out on each set biscuit base. Place any toppings of your desire/availability.

I have used Chocolate Sprinkles and Almond Flakes( one of the last items from the stock that my late father used to bring down from his place of work) I will always miss him whenever I see Raisins,Almonds,Pistachios...
That's it, Chill your no bake dessert and serve when it's just abt time for a sweet tooth.




As simple as it looks,just slice up your Sweet Potatoes quite finely and deep fry them(GULP!)  Sprinkle adequate salt, chilly flakes,lemon and pepper powder and eat it hot. There is a slight sweetness to the chips, but the chilly flakes help to sort of bring in some heat.

I ate everything in moderation as I had just worked out prior to my cooking...so that lil' voice is always nagging me..."from the lips to the hips !" But you readers,don't bother just Binge,go for it!
