The Dal (split chickpeas dal and toor dal) was cooked in a pressure cooker along with finely diced Zucchini and onions. Once it was cooked, in a skillet in a tsp of oil/ghee ,let a tsp of mustard splutter in it, add ginger garlic paste,a tsp of turmeric,a tbsp of finely chopped onions and tomatoes, salt to taste,pepper corns and any spicy masala of your choice. I've added some chicken masala powder. Give it all a good stir and add it to the dal mix and serve with finely chopped cilantro. Serve it hot with the rice |
