Broccoli Egg Rice with Beans Kondattam

Took ordinary raw rice and cooked it my rice cooker, during its last cooking stage, I opened the lid and added in salt and pepper, along with finely chopped long beans, broccoli and onions. Stirred it well and checked for salt, added fresh coriander leaves. Then in a big wok with a tbsp of oil, I broke in two eggs, cooked it like scrambled eggs, added salt and pepper again and tossed this into the rice with a tsp of chilly vinegar ,worcestire sauce and a little bit of tomato sauce. Rice must be served hot. I served it with the Okra stir fry and some long beans Kondattam.

Kondattam is from a store bought purchase. Kondattams are like some fried chips that go with the rice. Probably the long beans were chopped to an inch long, dried by the sun along with some spices and salt. By the time it is packaged it will be very dry and ready to fry. A good family friend of ours sent it to us during one of my husband's visits back home after visiting them. When you are too lazy to cook any sidedish, this Kondattam goes perfectly well with the rice.
