Red Chicken with Aloo Parathas

This is a recipe for Chicken Lollilops, but I couldn't get any good ones so I just stuck to what I had-chunks of boneless chicken.

The Marinade-ginger-garlic paste,a tsp of chilly powder,a tbsp of vinegar, two tbsp of flour(maida),a tbsp of oil,3 tbsp of tomato ketchup :) that's the red colour!, a tbsp of water and salt to taste. Rub this marinade against the chicken pieces and keep aside for an hour or more.
Then cook it on a medium flame, adjust the flame accordingly depending on your skillet/wok. I like that slightly charred look on my chicken. Barbecue this as another option.

Aloo Parathas-As the name suggests the Parathas were stuffed with boiled, mashed potatoes. I mashed the potatoes with cilantro, dry mango powder(also known as amchur powder), finely chopped green chillies, salt to taste, ginger-the recipe can vary with your own ideas of the spices to go with your mashed potatoes. There is no hard and fast rule on what spice goes with the mash! This is then stuffed into each ball from your kneaded mother dough and flattened out. I have described how to do so in an earlier post-check out the cheese and corn stuffed parathas.
