Chicken Burgers with Strawberry Yogurt

Mince boneless chicken. In a food processor add this minced chicken, onion, ginger, garlic,fresh peas (my sons never know), some chicken-fry masala/powder, lots of breadcrumbs mixed with oregano and chilly flakes,a finely chopped green chilly, add some lemon and pepper powder, squeeze half a lime into all the processed stuff and then add adequate salt and finely chopped cilantro. Do taste for salt and spice

Shape it to your desire...Avoid frying. You can tawa/griddle fry it in a little oil. Spray the griddle with some oil and dust the griddle with some bread crumbs, then place your burger over this. You can place a lid over it on a medium flame as shown in the above pic, so that the meat will cook. Ensure that the meat is cooked,test, taste and see.


The Strawberry Yogurt was made with low-fat/slim milk curd as they call it here, loosen the curd and blend a handful of strawberries in it. Do not add sugar, then you lose the whole purpose  of enjoying this dish.

You want to spoil the fun, you can fry the burgers...you can add sugar to the yogurt! and weep over those extra calories...Ha! ha!
