Vada Curry

This Onam I was at Amma's and over there Girija Chechi made her speciality for the day and that was the Vada Curry. Her curry was more of a coriander based onion curry with Urunnu vadas broken down and added to the curry, I have used the Parippu vada version.

Any dish that Chechi makes is Yumm and I found it quite interesting on the banana leaf along with the other dishes for Onam.

I did make the vadas and set them aside. Later add them whole or break them down and add to a spicy gravy. They were incorporated in my spicy dal curry. It was almost like double the protein power packed dish.
