#Thursdaytip #The Inconsistentchef

Will try to incorporate a few posts on some of the handy tools in ma cuisine. I must shamelessly admit that the three pics that are included here are all tools that I sourced and brought back from abroad. I am sure these are available in India as well...maybe more expensive and of poorer quality, perhaps?!!

I always need a long spoon at home to extract those lil cutie pies hiding at the bottom of my bottles. So I have kept aside two of these precious spoons just for peeking into my olives or some store bought sauces that need some yanking out!

Then I have this meat tenderizer which I have used in several old posts which is mainly for banging against the meat and flattening them out in such a way that your spices may be incorporated well or for flattening and stuffing the meat with something else and then rolling the breast pieces. The recipes are endless! Always good to have one at home if you do a lot of cooking with meat.
These are dangerous tools in the kitchen, so please keep it tucked away from your toddlers or if you and the spouse are fighting over the TV remote or something else, you know where to get the weapon of MAN destruction and show the man who's the BOSS !!!

These grooved spiky thingies serve to make the meat more tender.
If you are a wine lover and once the bottles are uncorked, you know how rancid it can turn out later on, hence it is important to invest in something similar to this to serve as a cork when the original is damaged and this is still in the chiller. This fancy wine cork may be expensive but if wine is your thing then no harm done!

I'll toast to that! Stay tuned for more tools and handy Thursday tips :)
