Foul Medammas-a salad and a dip

I used the canned version of the protein, drained it from its brine and set aside. Diced an avocado and a tomato and mixed it along with the juice of a lemon, a tbsp. of honey, salt, pepper and chilly flakes. Added the drained medammas in this marinade and tossed them about along with finely chopped cilantro.
 
 Once mixed in the marinade, chill it in the fridge. to be had cold. A lovely and healthy salad to be had like so or soon after a nice workout as lunch!

 I also made a close imitation of a hummus with the drained protein/lentil. Pulsed it along with cumin powder, salt, garlic and juice a lemon. Once pulsed, served it like so with a dash of pepper, cumin powder and cayenne pepper powder. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the dip and garnish it with finely chopped cilantro, a sprig of mint leaves and hard boiled eggs as accompaniments.
