Friends,Family, Food, Films and A Red Carpet Welcome

Day One

Was fortunate to be invited to the premier of Selma. It was an experience of a lifetime. A red carpet welcome Indeed! Popcorn, a cup of coffee and hors d'oeuvre on the house. The above picture is of a grilled chilly paneer toast that was served to us randomly. It was really yumm...I couldn't click too many pictures as it was not an event for photography and there were loads of movement with the theatre ushers serving the invitees and walking about.
Have never seen Sathyam theatres dressed like so. Perfect evening to unwind with friends over a meaningful and thought provoking film. The movie speaks volumes on its own and History teaches us to respect the man more.

Enjoyed the movie to the core in all its seriousness! Lessons we learn in life repeatedly...March On...

Day Two
And the Dine experience another day with a few others on invite was the icing on the cake...the beauty was that it was the birthday of a friend's daughter-in-law and there were a few surprises in stock for her. Even we were shocked and surprised. It was a movie followed by a lovely dinner at Escape Dine In.

There is a secret space to celebrate an occasion during the interval just in front of the screen...OMG! What a revelation for me. My eyes literally went Bonkers!!!! curtailing the embarrassment ...but it was very private and quite soundproof!

Just to give one a rough idea of the price against the order.

The soup of the day. Enjoyed the taste...nice and warm for my already hurting throat but a tad bit too salty!
I had my chicken burger with fries!
I couldn't click or catch the things the youngsters had ordered as we were all spread out. But I could see they were enjoying their Lasagna and grilled chicken amidst the laughter and chatter and were ordering for more...hence I lost count of what they had!
 The dragon chicken with noodles.
The Tiramisu which was pre booked and ordered at one of the nearby cake shops which came to our table. Not the best that I have had but it did serve as a lovely dessert to culminate the evening! It was not a "Pick Me Up" moment for me!
Always wanted to click the pics of these ...am glad I got the opportunity to do so!

On hindsight, what all I could recycle these bottles as! I love this shade of green and they make perfect show pieces when dressed up with a few craft supplies!!!
