Triple Decker Idlis


Using the three coloured coconut chutneys, this batter can be prepared ,poured and steamed. The chutneys can be found in my Tri-colour sandwiches -green is the coriander chutney, red is the tomato or red chilly chutney and white can be left as such or add white coconut chutney to the Idly batter.

I prepared them in my oval shaped stainless steel plates and then sliced them through as one would cut a cake.
 These are pretty and odd presentations for your otherwise boring Idlis. Do enjoy them and they can be served with the same coloured coconut chutneys/sprinkle some dosa podi over it.
