Grilled Halved Eggs In Halved Tomatoes

 Two slices of bread, carve the shape of your scooped out tomato on the upper slice(although I had used both slices) Do not waste the scooped out bread, you can use it for breadcrumbs or in bread uppumav(done in an earlier post) incase you are preparing many of these sandwiches.

Spread Pizza sauce/pizza topping sauce between the slices as it gives the extra taste and flavour.

Scoop out the pulp of your halved tomato and in the cavity lay out a halved hard- boiled/soft-boiled egg. Now in the cavity of your bread, lay out a nice slice of flavoured salami and on top of this salami, lay out your egg. Grate mozarella cheese, add all the herbs of choice-dil,oregano,chives and chilly flakes.
 Sprinkle salt only if you feel it lacks salt as the bread,salami and cheese has salt in it.
In your oven,on your greased (I've drizzled olive oil on the tray)baking tray, grill these sandwiches or until the cheese has melted. You can discard the yolks if you are health conscious and fill it with extra cheese...Oh, that isn't healthy either :) 

The option for vegetarians could be to fill the scooped out tomatoes with crumbled and flavoured cottage cheese/paneer/cooked and flavoured soya granules/boiled and flavoured, mashed potatoes and instead of the salami, you could use a slice or two of zucchini.
