A Lightly Flavoured Chicken Dish

RECIPE TO BE UPDATED IN A COUPLE OF HOURS...

Recipe has been updated:-
Make a puree of an onion and sautee that in a wok, stir-fry until it is light brown. To it add the ginger and garlic pastes. Also add two to three cardamons.
Add two red, dry, broken chillies as well and then grind all this together and place them back in the hot wok along with mix the chicken pieces in it so that they would be evenly coated with the ground paste.

In a blender mix a nice amount of yogurt and a few tomatoes. Add this blended mix to the chicken, add salt to taste and let the chicken cook in all this...preferably on a low flame by now This helps the chicken to gain some flavour. Check for salt and if you would like it a bit more spicy, add a tsp. of red chilly powder along with a tsp. of garam masala(I have done so...as my kiddo doesn't like it bland-both optional and only if required) Use a lid to close and let the dish cook in its own juices and in the yogurt mix. Add water if required.
Finish the chicken dish with a tbsp. of ground cashewnut paste. Mix it thoroughly in the chicken dish.
Garnish with slivered almonds. Eat it piping hot!
