Indulgence In A Jar

My eighteen year old imp is busy with his ongoing exam preparations for Grade XII and we,as parents are literally his puppets...we will do anything for him at this juncture, he knows that, he just needs to pull the right strings...we want him to perform well and he is working hard and responsibly.

The older one has made us proud and performd remarkably well at his exams last year and topped in Physics at his school as well as made it through various entrance tests and finally settled in one of the most prestigious colleges in India.

The younger one is taking his tiny steps with giant leaps though...he wants things the easy way out, hates to struggle though...

Anyway, this morning he just comes up to cuddle me and tortures me with his hugs which are like...Try to get out of this grip/maze/lock whatever the name is that I've armlocked you now with, mom!...I always thought that as they grow older, I will be able to relax more...but with this imp, it's as if my butt is constantly set on fire! I can't keep pace with his speed and dexterity in wrestling with me...
So it was a dessert craving for him..."Mama, feel like having something sweet!" and I thought to myself...I love putting things together, concocting stuff so why not?whipped some cream with icing sugar and swirled in Nutella (licking the three or almost four tbsps I put in) and got a nice creamy texture, crumbled some oreos with the chocolate flavor, then chopped some fresh strawberries, crumbled some left-over butter cake(any cake of choice) and then just layered them one after the other with flaked almonds as garnish.

Arranged them all neatly in layers in a jar. He enjoyed it and left some for later tonight.
That's mine with a few wafers...eating it slowly! Can't have all that sugar at one go...will wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat thinking that I've added more on the hips!!! lovely feel on the lips, but not on the hips :(
There are a few oreo crumbs as well for garnish!
Set in the fridge, it's better when it is cold. You can add any fruits of choice or flavours as well. Going to try with coffee soon!
Pure Indulgence! Anything for the children right?
He hugs me again-same tight lock...it's a sign of gratitude! Love u mom :)

End of story but beginning of many more locks and struggles!!!
