Corned Beef With Mashed Pumpkin

 Just an amazing feast for my eyes, the colour, the shape, the ideas for a recipe...



Decided to make a mash of corned beef with pumpkin.

Cooked the pumpkin with a tsp. of turmeric and salt and mashed it well and set it aside.
Took canned corned beef and added that to some sauteed onions, green chillies,ginger-garlic paste any spicy masala/spice(I have used Pav bhaji masala) and as they cooked through, I added in the mashed pumpkin and finished the dish with a garnish of finely chopped cilantro and a dash of lime.
Do taste for salt, the canned beef will have salt in it as a preservative, if you require more do add accordingly.

Had it with some toasted bread spread with pesto(store bought) and some fresh fruit pears.
