Paneer Manchurian


Paneer/Tofu were diced and mixed in a batter consisting of all purpose flour, a tsp of chilly flakes,cornstarch and  salt to taste just enough to coat the paneer. Set it aside for while and later deep fried the paneer and drained off the excess oil. Set aside.

Diced some onions,tomatoes and green bell peppers. Also finely chopped the fried paneer.


Put them altogether with various sauces-chilly vinegar,soy sauce, sweet and sour tomato sauce,green chilly paste, tomato sauce, sprinkled in some pepper, added a dash of lime as the dish reached its climax and a tsp of garam masala. 



Allowed it to turn crisp and garnished it with finely chopped spring onions which brought in more life to the dish in appearance and crunch. C'est tout,that's it, the dish is done. Best when served hot with noodles or rotis.
