In a skillet, sliced onions and tomatoes were sauted along with those Bhaji chillies. Added in a tsp of turmeric, a tsp of chilly powder,a tbsp of coriander powder,a tbsp of Rasam powder and left to cook in the tomato gravy on simmer. Some water was added to give it a curry feel and once again left to thicken with the addition of salt and some lemon pepper powder.
The meatballs were slid in slowly and again left to cook on a simmer, the meat balls helped to thicken the gravy and gave it a different personality altogether. The tomatoes gave it a tangy feel once it cooked and blended in with the meatballs.This inspired me to take out the breadsticks/soupsticks and served it like so . |
