Pepper Chicken &Honey Sesame Chicken

First of all let me introduce you to my new bowls which I received as a gift from my friends and teacher from my Yoga class on the occasion of my birthday that went by...I think it was a very thoughtful gift and I was just waiting to inaugurate this bowl. Thanks guys and gals, this is very close to my heart especially during this culinary roller coaster ride of mine. So here I've made some Pepper Chicken.

Took some boneless chicken and rubbed it with salt and lemon and set aside. In a wok add a tbsp of ghee, sauteed some green chillies, onions, a tbsp of chilly powder, a tsp of turmeric until the onions turned brown, added ginger garlic as well and around three tbsp of pepper powder, this can vary with individual tastes and gave it all a good sitr. Slid in the chicken and allowed the dish to cook in its own steam without adding much water to the dish. For a very traditional peppery feel, you can also add in a few black pepper corns. Saute it till all the masala leaves the sides of the wok and the chicken seems tender and peppery. Garnish with a tsp of coconut oil and a few curry leaves. I did add a few green bell peppers for appearance.

This was a chicken dish done a week back but couldn't find time to upload, almost on the same lines as the above recipe, but I've also added a tsp of turmeric powder, a tsp of garam masala , reduced the amount of pepper as this dish as it  is a Honey chicken base. Let the chicken caramelize in honey. It was a sweet chicken flavoured dish. To garnish the dish I added in a few white sesame seeds for appearance and texture. Tossed it about till the chicken had caramelized honey over it, Can be served as a starter on toothpicks with any beverages of choice.
