As mentioned on Facebook under the Inconsistent Chef, I did want to cheer a very good pal of mine who's just moved in recently to a new venue with her two lil ones. She's been feeling low and I did try to cheer her up with my calls...but sometimes, that's just not enough. I will try to visit her soon-distance and other personal priorities are in our way but we will meet soon my friend. Sending you a few beetroot :) roses in cyberspace to help you feel wanted and cared for. |

These are a few roses done to cheer my other friend who lost his father end of last month. Just called him to check on him, he's doing Ok but like me who lost my father...all the memories are clouding our heads and we are still weeping like lost kids...still sniffing our father's clothes and kissing those things that they left behind and holding it tighter against our chest...This is for you mon ami R...time will heal all the pain and the show must go on.... |
That is what our fathers would want us to do...Be cheerful and strong! Just carrots and beets sliced through all around the veggie with my knife and shaped like roses and added to a spicy raitha/curd
