Mango with drumsticks curry/Manga with Murungikya

This curry is almost like my Moru curry, well...Almost- but with a difference. I have diced a mango which was medium ripe along with a sliced onion and cooked them in a little water with a tsp of turmeric powder, once it is almost cooked, add in a few drumsticks that have been cut to an inch in size each. While those two veggies are cooking, grate some coconut and grind it to a paste along with one/or two green chillies to your taste and spice, half a tsp of cumin seeds, two/ three cloves of garlic and a few pepper corns. Add this paste to the cooked mango-drumstick curry and dilute it with some more water. Let them all mix in well. Add salt to taste.
Take a smaller skillet, splutter a few mustard seeds in a tsp of coconut oil with some shallots and dry,red chillies, as they turn brown, add in a few fresh curry leaves, a tsp of chilly powder and take it off the heat and toss this hot mixture into the curry which is now away from the flame. Garnish it with a tbsp of fresh curd, give it all a good mix, ensure that the curd has mixed in well with the curry. This step is optional, you can avoid it totally as the mango already has a slight sourness, thecurd also adds to the sourness.
This has to be eaten hot with some rice and its accompaniments. I first ate this at my maternal Ammachi's place(grandmother), they used to put the whole mango seed in it as well with some flesh on it and we would all like getting that as it felt nice sucking at that mango seed as children.I think they used another variety of mangoes cause it tasted much sweeter than mine :)
