Peas Pulao
A good friend of my husband's and now mine as well, requested me to change the font to make my work more presentable.
So, Arun, let me take this opportunity to thank you for that bit of advice. I'll let you know if I got more readers :) owing to that change in font!
So, now let's get down to some quick-fix lunch. Had some left over rice- in a skillet I drizzled in a tbsp of oil(ghee sounds richer but think...Fatter), saute a diced onion, throw in your fresh peas, a tspn of cumin seeds, some chilly flakes,a small handful of peanuts, salt to taste and a dash of pepper for spice. Remember you can brown an onion faster if you add a tsp of sugar with your onions.

Voila, you have my version of a peas pulao, if you use Basmati rice, the flavour and aroma is irresistible! I didn't use Basmati :(. Eat this with any curry of your choice. |
