Make your rotis/chapathis. Take some Frozen corn, rinse it well. In a skillet, saute some onions the rinsed corn and chilly flakes with a tsp of salt and a dash of lime. Add a tbspn of chilly plum sauce. Use olive oil for the frying. If you want to make it spicier, add any spice/ masala of your choice to enhance the flavour of the corn. Garnish with some cilantro.
I have use some ready-made chicken kebabs, once I've fried them, I slit them along with slivers of cucumber and filled each roti with the corn, kebab and the cucumber slivers. Serve them with any dip/sauce or simply with a few raw and healthy veggies. I've used carrots for crunch and olives which is the last of the many bottles my father (who passed on prior to Christmas) bought me. Will alwys miss u Pa...
So please enjoy this simple snack.
The Rotis/Chapathy-Use any healthy muti-grain flour, add sufficient salt and knead it with some warm water. Make it a proper dough which is firm yet fine to flatten out with the rolling pin. Will put up another blog to display the same soon. |
